Check out the outlet sections from various manufacturers. Dell has a big one selling individual computers.
Since your question indicates you might want more than one laptop, you might contact the manufacturers outlets directly and they might be willing to give you a better price.

If you want a cheap one, I'd suggest getting a used one. Try craigslist or ebay.
Or, buy an older model for new. As this years computers are what's hot, a model designed for last year that is still in stock ought to be discounted.
