my moms 97 eagle vision tsi has a 3.5 twin cam 24valve V6 with 229 kms. for some reason, the the big 20amp fuse under the hood, which controls the auto shut down function, has blown twice. so far, the shop can't find the problem, but since the car has not blown the fuse yet. what could have caused this to happen in the first place. any ideas?? anybody with the same problem??

Don't have any ideas. But the URL below shows you some things that have been on recall for the vehicle. You do not need to subscribe but use as reference and call the dealer and ask about an item there. I do not know if the car can still be fixed with recall item or not though.
