some of us doing bussiness, some r in job or services, social works, politics, travelling, creative works, loving others/nation,...... even some of us involve in destructive works also.
by doing all of those above we earn or gain money,honour,power everything to make our life easier or colorfull.
but for what we r doing that? even love or hate?
AS PER MY OPINION WE ALL R DOING THOSE FOR NOTHING BUT PEACE ONLY, MENTAL PEACE AND SATISFACTORY.

Its different for each of us.
I work to put a roof over my head and feed my family.
I work hard to pay for a nice holiday each year.
I work harder still to buy that place in the sun I want to retire to.
We all have our own dreams - but some want more than others.
Ultimately, everything we do and achieve will all be for nothing, you're right. We will be dead and forgotten. My purpose is to enjoy it as much as I can.

Yes, in a way. People THINK what they are doing has some purpose or meaning, but it only has meaning as defined locally here among humans. For some that is enough. For people like you and me, we try to see beyond that.
When you do, you see that there is no purpose for anything. All of human achievement could be wiped out by one more asteroid. That sounds pessimistic, but I just mean, what could our "cosmic" significance really be if our existence only came about b/c of an asteroid that ended the rule of the dinosaurs and yet it could be wiped out again by another?
