Lost spread sheet?

In updating a spread sheet, stored on a 3 1/2" floppy, while working off line, I lost / deleted the information from the disc. Is this just "gone", or is it filed someplace on my computer where it could be retrieved, saving me from having to recreate the document from scratch.

it's still on the disk unless you wrote over it with something else. YOu'll just need a file undeleter or unerase program such as I have with Norton Utilities.
