Still being a teenager myself i will tell you that it must have been hard for your son to say this to you. First of all make sure your son knows exactly what masterbation is. After this is established simply just tell him. Ask him if he feels he is having irregular thoughts or feelings. Children like to be treated as though they are older therefore if u talk to him as an adult in this sort of situation he will be very grateful. Just be honest. Good Luck.

You don't say how old your son is, but it doesn't really matter. I just told a boyfriend that never needed or wanted to masturbate before and he is doing very well now.
First, explain it with words. Tell him to take his dominate hand and wrap it around his penis so that it is comfortable but has enough friction. Then tell him to go up and down until he feels aroused. A lot can be explained with making the motion using your own hand and the pointer finger of your left hand to show him the motion. Make sure to explain that it is perfectly natural and normal and that everyone does it. Also explain that this should only be done in the privacy of his own room or bath room. He will be just fine and thank you in years to come.

I am 15 and found out when I was 12. That's kinda bad for a boy to have to ask. Tell him to get inventive, but not to the point of stupidity. But, why are you asking? Don't you know how?

go to jackinworld.com they have sections so that you can talk to your son about this....i am a teenager but never asked this it just happened. you can show him how to jack off and the basic grips and let him figure out the rest from there. also tell him that you will get him some lube since he asked you about masturbating.

You should tell him, as some kids are incredibly slow on the practical side - it doesnt mean he is not getting erections and rubbing - but he is asking for a little more detail - be a man and offer all you can..

im 15 and i started doin it when i was 12. it is instinct and it doesnt need any instruction. he will just figure it out on his own when he is ready to do it
