I was just printing off an application form for my sister for an assistant in the police force in Southampton, and on their website they actually had a job for a CSI investigator. Look on Hampshire police, list of vacancies and click on it. It says you should have degree and do a 9 week course in Durham or somewhere and then keep doing regular refresher courses. Have a look and good luck.
