I have the perfect solution that i use myself for the same problem. It is a product called FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. It is a littler purple cube with an activated carbon filter inside that is really great. It works so much better than baking soda and all those sprays. You probably should place one in your freezer and your refrigerator since circulate together. The carbon filter in this product literally eliminates the odors and works for a long time. I use this product everywhere including my fridge and freezer and also under sinks, near trash and have friends that use it on cat litter box and also diaper pails - it's that good. I really recommend it and it's not expensive. You can buy it in kitchen gadget sections in stores like walmart and linens and things. I also think camping world sells it. Definitely worth trying. It's the best product for getting rid of odors and no messy powders and little pieces.

Take as many brown paper bags that you can find. Open them out and fill your freezer with them. They shouldn't be packed, just lightly crumbled so that the air and odors can be absorbed by the carbon in the paper.
Let stand for five or six days. Some use baking soda, If you have enough baking soda that will work too. I've found the brown paper to be better ( if you use a lot of it.

Baking soda works in your fridge, wonder if it might help in the freezer? Bottom line though, make sure you don't just cover it up. Clean out your freezer and wash it first so that you're hopefully taking care of the problem.

defrost your freezer then bleach the crap out of it .then keep a box of arm and hammer open in there to absorb any future odors as well as sealing your freezer goods better. unless the odor has permiated the inside of the freezer itself(the other side that you cant see) then youre screwed
