This is a funny story, My dad told me that ants are smart and thry can understand you when you speak..and I didn't believe it at first then..I tried it just because nothing else was working.. Talk to them.. Tell them that if they do not leave you will have to kill them. I did this for 4 days and I swear they dwindled for about the first 3 and then by the 6th or 7th day they were gone. I only see a few from time to time..If that doesnt work try sevendust.. just google it. OH and dont leave ANY food on the counters at all! I know... I am a weirdo!

Two years ago we paid an exterminator a lot of money to come
to our home and spray outside, around foundation, and the interior. Then I went to Lowe's or Home Depot and bougt a
product that you shake out of the containter all around the
foundation to provide a barrier. It was pricey but not as much as
the exterminator service.
I have also used ant baits---they come ready to use in tiny tin containers. But if you have curious pets or children they are not
good. There is another type of ant bait that comes in a bottle and you use the liquid in drops on a small square of cardboard. The idea here is the ant takes it back to the nest on
its extremities and it helps kill the nest.

alot of people have ant problems, so its not embaressing. i do once in a while, i thought it wasnt from cleaning my floors for a couple days, but all i did was spray my cracks with bug spray that kills cockroaches, ants and flys, maybe try to leave a sticky syrup of some sort on the counter so they will stick onto it? just a thought if they are on counters, tables, ect.

We know what it's like. We get them a lot and it's a pain. We've used flea spray because we didn't have ant spray and it killed them. Our kitchen is clean and they still came it's so annoying.

Seal up all of the food, clean everything to remove the pheremone trails they use, and spray the foundation of the house with insecticide to make sure they can't keep getting in.

Clean your kitchen real well and keep it clean (no food or spills sitting out). Then simply tell them to leave. Talk to them and tell them that they will die if they don't leave, they do not belong in your house. And they will be gone in a couple of days~ :)

FIRST THING YOU CAN DO IS TO SET A BUG BOMB IN YOUR HOUSE. THEN CLEAN EVERYTHING UP. SET OUT BORIC ACID IN CORNERS AND NOOKS IN YOUR HOUSE ALONG WITH BAY LEAVES.
