I wouldn't say that he is a moron. Sadly, he convinced more than half of the voters to go his way. He's a wonderful manipulator although the conservatives will never admit that out of embarrassment. BTW - Daddy got him into Yale.

No one could make as many blunders as Bush has by accident. He must be a genius.

Let Osama Bin Laden escape--Once caught, there would be little reason to continue the War on Terrorism.

Iraq--What began as a simple invasion in order to establish US regional power has become a boom for a few buddies in the oil and construction business.

Katrina--It was Clinton who played the saxophone, not Bush, so who really cares about the home of Jazz music anyway? So what if a few Afro-Americans suffer, if we can undercut the entire theory that government exists to serve all the people?

I think this question is moronic. President Bush is very intelligent, The problem is that things are going bad in Iraq, so everyone is jumping on the band wagon to be against him.

I would have had more respect for this question if you had asked something like, Is President Bush's economic policy helping or hurting our country.

Wow...somebody wants to start controversy. What are your own thoughts? Hmmm?

I happen to lean left, but even if I didn’t, I’d have to say that the President is a moron. The intelligent Republicans retain their party’s stances, but can still recognize that the President is a moron as well. He is certainly in over his head, however, he's also a bumbling idiot. The evidence is in his speeches and actions. It's hard to have too much sympathy for a man like that, even if we are in war.

He tends to stand up for what he believes in but his thinking is restricted to narrow minded view points. For instance with regard to ethanol production in the world, it could be achieved by using other crops than corn. Mr. Bush however stresses that corn production will have to increase in order to meet the demands. This is narrow mindedness as switchgrass and the actual corn stalk, sugar and a host of other plants including hemp can be used to produce ethanol. Will he put Federal funds into the production of ethanol using these? No he comes out with a statement just recently saying that increased corn production will be required and in order to achieve that conservation areas will have to be ploughed under to grow more corn. Well how about that statement, one coming from a President who is a BIG OIL man from TEXAS? I would have to put him into the moron category for that statement and we are bigger morons if we let him continue to make these sorts of statements without questioning him on the real facts. His office affords him the opportunity to be selectively ignorant of the facts until someone proves him wrong. What is wrong with you America? A Canadian company called IOGEN can produce cellulosic ethanol right now using corn stalks and enzymes that they have developed. As far as big oil is concerned Mr. Bush is their number one supporter. While you pay more at the pump he and his friends pump more of your money into their pockets. It is time to tell this president to stop draining the resources of America to help save Iraq! Iraq gets richer while you get poorer.

I think he's smart for pretending to be a moron because he knows that morons are just laughed at for their ineptitude while truly evil bastards (like him an Cheney) are usually hung at the drop of a hat for the kind of shite they've let loose on the US for generations to come.

I think he's very smart. You don't get to be President by being a moron. He plays the moron when he wants to. Reagan was good at that too. I think Bush is smart, but I know he isn't very wise. There is a difference.

[to mmilner_24]: You are a bit lost, let me enlighten you:

1.- GW Bush went to Yale, not Harvard.

2.- In case you haven't noticed yet, rich kids go whatever they want regardless of talent. Money talks.

3.- Even with all that support, he graduated with a C (you get already that if you manage to put your name and date correctly on the paper...).

I don't think you need an education to realize to which extend junior is a moron. It is just common sense!

And just what the hell do you think he was supposed to do? What do you think any other president would have done to protect this Country, How much would be left of this Country as we know it if he had not taken the action he did. Then you would all be crying the other way. God help us when the Dems get in.

President Bush is a common sense guy. Morons don't get elected Governor and President. He is in the White House and you and I are not. The economy is great, Iraq is better now than during Saddams regime. What is wrong with that?
