Well right now my heart goes out to you , you are truly a blessed woman to have all that responsibility and still have time to smile.

My husband died about 13 years ago and that left me with 5 kids to raise on my own at the time they were 2,4,6,8 & 10, I was able to purchase a home with the benefits and my mom 70 and niece 18 moved in with me because I still needed to work, then six months after that my dad died, and 1 year after that my mother in law died which I then inherited my 2 sister in laws who were 16 & 17 on top of that my dead beat brother had no where to go so he moved in at the time he was 25, non of these people contributed to the home and just imagine trying to feed everyone and paying the large utility bills and just image me in the house with 10 people in a 3 bedroom ranch style house.......It was hard and some days I cried but through stregnth and prayer I made it.....It was by the grace of God that I made it, my co-workers would say that I was crazy for taking all these people in but what can you do when they have no one to depend on but you.
Prayer helps a lot so just keep doing what you are doing and keep praying and God will see you through..
I just recently 12/06 remarried and all the good works I did for others have come back to me because now my new husband doesn't want me to work and I get to just take care of myself,
so don't think your work "hard work" goes un-noticed because there is a great reward coming your way...
God bless you

I don't understand why you're tired. The oldest 3 kids can help with things around the house. The 5 y/o can do things also. You choose to have 6 kids, care for your grandmother and you hubby being diabetic isn't a big deal. People do fine with it on a daily basis. If your dad is on meds then he should be ok also. Seems like you are feeling sorry for yourself and want sympathy from others. We all have our own problems why does yours need to be so much bigger than ours? I've had a rough life also but I'm not complaining about it. As for living in a trailer how can you afford to live there. They are not fit for man nor beast move into something respectable and get over your pity party.

You are one tired woman. I only thought I was tired all the time but after reading this, I must be only complaining about things since you have 6 children, a diabetic husband, elderly grandmother, manic depressant father and all living in a single wide trailer. You must want to run away, I know I would. You must have incredible faith to keep on going.

I can understand you being tired. Just remember this will not go on forever. They will grow up and be on their own. You have a important job of the formative years. teaching values. You asked about other people lives. My kids are away in school now. But to keep things together I have to work 12 hours shifts I work 120 hours every two weeks. Added to that I work 7pm until 7am. On top of that Its a pediatric intensive care unit. That is very, very, stressful. By the time come to go home I just collapse in bed. Just to wake up and return to the same.

When I was 26-28, I was in school full time (Ph.D in chemistry). My wife was in school full time (nursing). I taught lab courses and lectures 2-3 times a week and tutored as much as I could (5-10 times a week) to make extra money. My wife worked a full time job. I took care of the kids (then 7 and 8), did all the housework and cooking, plus we had bought a "fixer upper" and it took me 3 years to renovate the house.
Most people who knew me then couldn't believe we survived. We just barely did.

Wow. I thought I was tired. I have an eight month old son that hasn't slept in three nights, a step-daughter who requires constant attention, full-time job, stupid house that I have to clean, a husband that works 12 hours/day, plus husband's ex that makes life extra difficult. So yeah, i'm tired, but listening to your story, makes me a little less tired. GOod luck!! :)

Why did the 'single wide trailer' part not surprise me?

Believe me, I easily could argue that I have it worse and yet I'm the happiest guy around because of what I have. What has been going on is too personal to share here.

A lot of your problems are things you've done to yourself, so not much sympathy here.

Maybe you should spend less time on the internet and more time with your family.
