The small things in life are so important beause when you add them all up together they turn out to be one massive ball of important little things. And if all of these little things have gone wrong that ball can seriously hurt when it runs you over, it could even send you into an overwhelming state of depression which would suck, so you need to watch out for those little things.

The small things in life...the things we normally take for granted, pass by on our pursuit after the larger things. They are important, they are the grains of sand that collect into a beautiful beach. A smile, a tear, a word of encouragement, a card form a friend, a gorgeous sunrise, a spectacular sunset. All these "small" things are such a large part of each and every day. Its the small things we tend to remember when we look for meaning in our lives. The greater matters, the ones we see as more important, are a continuing journey, but the small things are treasures we pack in memory and take with us always.

I used to buy a bottle of water everyday when I got on the train. That water only costs a buck. But at the end of the month the total was $20. 24 packs of water at our local grocery cost 4 bucks. So at the inflated cost of 20 bottle of water I could have had 96 bottles. The small things are not necessarily more important, but they should definitely not be taken lightly.

Because life is a journey. With any journey, small changes in direction, especially early in the journey, will dramatically change the final destination. That's why little changes don't often bother the elderly. A small change doesn't affect where they are, or where they will be.

Small things added together create a lifetime. One small stone built on top of another built the great pyramids, minute by minute creates hours, creates days, creates lifetimes. So live your life each day as you want to be remembered by.
