You need to be more specific. Phrasing your question in the form of the English language would be useful as well.

What kind of fish do you have?

My second comment would be, if you didn't have a tank, didn't know what your fish's needs were why did you purchase them?

Without knowing what kind of fish you have (I will assume fresh water) it is difficult to tell.

Do you have a tank now? Where is the other fish staying while you are setting up your tank?

If you did get a tank you need to do an emergency cycle. Once everything is attached to your tank, heater, filter, lights dechlor water toss in a couple of scallops, or raw fish chopped up(preferably older fish or fish pieces you let sit out over night). This will immediately start the cycle process for your tank.

Since you don't want your other fish sitting out on the counter in a bowl, test your water the next day. If the nitrate level is not spiked and less than 50ppm, you can float and add your fish.

Mind you this is NOT the proper way to cycle your fish. This is an emergency only.

Well first what kind of fish is it? If it is a freshwater tropical fish ( like a platy, mollie, or tetra) the best thing you can do is go to your local pet store and buy a 2 or 5 gallon starter set. That way you can get everything you need in one package. This should run you under $30.

get a net breeder (hospital tank) if they're tropical fish put them in freshwater use a test tube and make sure it's safe.
get medicine and put it in there just in case 1 teaspoon for every 10 gallons
---
get PimaFix (fungal and bacteria infections for salt and freshwater fish) go to petsmart
trust me it works
your tank needs plants an algae eater to clean the tank, and a filter

I wanted to highlight something to the current answers u have...........

First of all never keep a fish alone...there r a very few types of fishes which can stay alone.....but still u should'nt keep a single species of a fish a a tank........and please not the Goldfish, for God sake.....they all need some company....

Secondly if u have a Fish bowl....please throw it out....You should never keep a fish in a fishbowl. Its a torture for them.....obviously they cant tell you this..... Please always keep fishes in a well equipped fish tank........So, its not so easy to keep fishes...isnt it

Thirdly please ask ur vendor for the kind of water ur fish needs n make all arrangemnets to keep a fish.........

Only if u r "Well Equipped" to keep a fish u should have them....otherwise please do not....

srry abt ur first fish..However, as you are not so sure how to protect the other 1 and the other fish must be feeling lonely after one of her partner died. As I think you have 2 options. 1) Buy another fish and then see if both of them get well together or 2) leave your fish in some river, pond or sea whatever close to ur house. If you choose the 1st option please take some advice of any1 who already have fish on how to getting along with it. BEST OF LUCK:)

what kind of fish is it?! there are millions of types of fish, without knowing what type it is, what you're keeping it in, what the symptoms were when the other died, it's very hard to help you!
