Such movies show is a life full of happiness, fun, love, respect. There is never a situation where people think about earning, getting job, staying away from parents. Also, heroines get the love of their lives, a person just not good at heart but would willingly do anything for her. They show life as coffee with extra cream. And then ... how would anybody not like it. People are tired of their normal life and tensions, so a movie which gives them relaxation is how they would love to live like. That is the reason.

everything turns out PERFECT
even though she's scarred for life, she has a magnificent family to take care of her and everything she could possibly want now. its a well developed movie that basically girls long for. the movie shows all the stages from engagement to marriage, even before meeting each other
its just absolutely beautiful

I simply loved the movie, it shows true family values and is a sweet movie.

me i wacthed it so many times and bought the movies hime also and wacthed ti over and over again so many times that i canted really tell u how many times its such a amazing movies so sensetive and sweet but it also tell u what u should do and how to furfill promises but people dont do that these day and thats why it made my cry so touching i could have sat there forever and listened to shahid talk and talk and talk in his amazing way he is so sweeeeet oh so nice honeycake, applepie shahos such a khochi and amrita is a natural beauty and such a good actress and the songs were fantastic everything was good but i would like to say most people didnt like it becauase they prefer loud and wild movies horrible comedy with such bad langague this movie was truly amazing i would never get tired wacthing it i waish i could meet shahid he seems like such a sweet darling such a nice person

I feel that Vivah is a very good and meaningful movie and most of the people would want to lead such an worthful life!!!(i.e. The journey from engagement to marriage)

YES I COMPLETELY AGREE WID U N AKASH S. bcoz still v r indians, our values n our thoughts r indians. though v boast dat v have now become ultra- modern, but d fact is dat still v want n v hope 4 d same cultural values in ourselves n our would b life-partener n also in our family.n since after a long v have seen such a movie based on "indian culture" there4 every1 wants their life like"vivah movie".thats all...

Cuz everyone does want their life to be like that.
You'd usually think that the rich guy would be the snob, but he's not. The sterp-mother is a sad story, but other than that, there were good messages.

cause it really cute when the guy is so sweet handsome cute, understanding but i dont thnk tat happens in real life its after all a movie but its really sweet thought.
