No I wouldn't be. I'm 22 wks and have only gained two pounds. The doctors don't seem to be worried as I was about a size 14 before so I probably was overweight for my height. I have a feeling things will change quickly for me as they probably will for you too as well.

I didn't really feel like I was showing around 15wks and then suddenly around 16-18wks I just popped out.

Congratulations and good luck with everything!

Do not worry at all! I didn't even start gaining weight until i was like 4 or 5 months and even that was just a little bit. You don't start really gaining weight until the later months, like 8 and 9 months. Everything is just fine! You should go online and type in Baby's Heartbeat monitor and you can actually rent one through the mail and you can hear your bub all the time for like $15 per month! It's called Baby Beat. I loved that thing when I was as far long as you. I listened to it every night and every day, until finally, i sent it back because then I started showing and feeling bub move, then that was exciting enough. I didn't need to hear the beat, I could feel her. But right now, it doesn't seem like you are preggers cuz you aren't gaining weight and you aren't showing yet that much and you probably can't feel the flutters yet. (to me, they felt more like muscle spasms than flutters.) so that is why I suggested the baby beat. That way, you can hear your baby's heartbeat. Check out the website! Babybeat.com

don't worry... I didn't gain any weight until about 22 weeks. And then I caught right up! gained 30 lbs by the end of my pregnancy. Unless your Dr. thinks it's bad, it's probably fine. Plus, in a few weeks, you should be having your ultrasound to check the baby out. Then you'll know that everything is progressing just fine. :)

No.. in a normal pregnancy.. you should only gain 15 lbs to 25 lbs. You will start gaining alot more weight in the 3rd trimester that is also when your baby will gaining all of their weight as well. Be happy that you are not gaining weight quickly.. means you are healthy and doing well. Good luck!

Don't worry about it. I didn't gain any weight in the first trimester at all. Now I'm 36 weeks and gained 36 lbs. You'll gain the most weight during the second trimester.

No especially if it isn't your first baby or if you were above you recommended weight. As long as you are eating properly, you don't need to be concerned. I gained under 20 lbs with #2 and #3 total...and one weighed 8 lbs 2oz and the other was 9 lbs 5 oz...so not gaining much doesn't always mean a small baby...lol! They take what they need...just make sure you are getting the prenatal and good nutrition.

I didn't start gaining weight until my 19th week. Some women take longer. I gained 10 lbs in one month, so don't worry, it'll be happening soon! If you're overly concerned, bring it up with your doctor and he'll be able to give you a better answer since he's familiar with your medical history.

No, not necessarily. I am in my 31st week of pregnancy and to date now weigh the same as when I conceived. I am not obese by any means, but could have stood to weigh less. At this point in your pregnancy, especially if you've been very sick. you may have in fact actually LOST weight. I lost 10 pounds within that time frame with this pregnancy. As long as your blood pressure and blood work, etc. are all fine and indicate the baby is growing as it should, don't worry about it! Don't stress!

Do not worry! It is very common to lose weight first few months of pregnancy. You will start to gain the weight. I lost weight with first pregnancy and gradually gained. With my 2nd pregnancy oh boy! LOL...the weight flew on and never looked back!..Everyone is different...every pregnancy is different. Just make sure you are eating when you are hungry..don't over eat to compensate and take your prenatal vitamins. Make sure you have food in your tummy before taking your vitamins or they will come right back up. Trust me..lol...I know.
