LOL, the sarcasm was not lost on me. Now if you want a city that has done something about crime, look at NYC. Then again they had Guilliani at the helm, and hired a lot of cops when Clinton gave them federal money.

So what you're saying is DC has violated the constitution of the United States?
Maybe you should look at examples what gun control laws have done to other countries like the UK, and Australia. They definitely didn't stop violent crime. It actually caused more because people cant defend themselves.

You are aware that DC is called the Murder capital of the world for a reason right gun control laws have done NOTHING to stop crime, just like drug laws do nothing to stop drug use.

Washington DC and Chicago are the homicide capitals of the rustic. the two Miami and Houston have severely decrease homicide quotes and that they are even infested by illegals and drug cartels. what's DC and Chicago's excuse? Is it Canada's fault or substitute into their finished ban on handguns merely not strict sufficient for you? They disarmed each and all of the innocents and enable the criminals run wild. What did you assume? it variety of feels like trouble-free sense that while you're taking the weapons remote from the regulation-abiding it makes it easier for the criminals to victimize them hence increasing crime.

Absolutely. I always feel very safe walking around DC late at night especially on the mall.

I seriously doubt it completely stopped it, but yeah, every city is different. The people have a different mentality. So laws should be put upon the people based on the people.

It stopped innocent people from defending themselves against violent crimes but the criminals absolutely still have guns and still commit violent crimes.
