my daughter has a jean pocketbook and she left the top off of a black ink pen in it. now there are 2 huge spots and i can't get them out. any suggestions???

You can use rubbing alcohol, resolve carpet cleaner or goo gone. They will all work.

Yea, use Era laundry detergent put it on the spots and rub it in and let it sit for about 15 min. to 1 hour, then wash it, this works for anything, one time my ex husband had a pair of coveralls grease from top to bottom from working on the car and I thought I would never get them clean but I used Era det. just the way I mentioned and they came so clean there wasn't one stinch of grease on it, works great, if u already washed and dryed it the stain is set in and it might not work, but u can try it anyway.

You can try hair spray but ink is a hard one - maybe follow up with Oxy-Clean.

spray oven cleaner on the spot and let it sit a while then wash

I don't think you can! I had a pen explode in my pocket on time at work and I couldn't get it out... :(

if it hasn't been in the dryer, try hair spray, or even oxy, but if it's made it to the dryer, hang it up and forget it.
