Wow of course not dude. No no no no no no.
Every music is a thing that make people who listen to it can get happy, peaceful, comfort and dare to face this life. Especially metal music, not every people can listen to metal music, this music have such a loud and speedy sound in their elements. I have been in metal music for almost 25 years, so i have listen to this music from my younger time until now. And i can say there is nothing wrong with me, even maybe i will let my son listen to metal music. Metal music is the unique, attractive, rough, tough, hard, loud, hot, and energic music that ever exist in this world.
But if you see or listen to any news about the bad influence then you should check it in detail, what is happening ?? Do this music that make it happen or what ??? Even there is something bad happen, but we can't blame to the music, we have to blame to each person who make it happen.

No, I don't think metal has a bad influence on young people. They might dress funny, get lots of piercings, and wear their hair strange, but that's about it. If people do bad things, music always gets blamed, and it's not the music's fault. If music influences someone to do something really bad, the person already has something wrong, in the first place. Metal music is a way to get out agression, and some people even gather strength from it. I've been listening to "metal" since I was about 8 years old, and am now 34, and the music didn't make me a bad person. People need to stop placing the blame on music, television, movies, and video games. These things aren't the cause of the problem. The kids who do bad stuff are already messed up.

I think people influence other people not music. If a person can blame heavy metal music as a bad influence, and for all that is wrong in their life, then they have deeper issues than what kind of music they listen to. ROCK ON ALL!!!!!!!!!

things that do have bad influences are:
rappers saying shag everyone you can and leave em with the kids
satanist music becouse it says dont respect any religon at all
and people not respecting the kids.
and your ten years old...
people have the right to believe in any form of a higher being, whether it be "Jesus" or your grandmothers llama, thats the beauty of our country. But then again all religion is bad, and I believe it is the root of all evil, and quite frankly I think its all bullsh!t anyways, in the beginning it was most likely a form of control over their people and slaves, and they believed it was a form of hope. Good goin ancestors, now we have radicals that like to crash planes into buildings and bomb places so that they can live in peace of mind while they burn in hell.
Theres the same issue going on in all types of music, not just rap, besides that, the rap that talks about that "f this, f that, ***** please, smokin yay, thizz till you OD" is 99% of the time completely terrible and makes your ears bleed.
I do not think any type of music should influence one into wrongdoing, otherwise you must be the weakest person alive, peer pressure is next, if music can influence you to do something, try having your friend ask you to do something, uh oh what if they ask you twice?!?! People who say video games instills violence in kids minds and makes them killers are also complete morons, I have played violent, first person shooter video games my entire life and I do not have a drop of black blood in my veins, and im on my way to college to become a successful businessman.
Music should not influence your perspective on life. Get medical help please.

I frequently seek for artists who've toured with a band i admire or despite Lastfm recommends for me. BQ: everyone who listens to song that may no longer mainstream is a hipster All christian song is undesirable If this isn't any longer popular, this isn't any longer sturdy. And the actuality that there remains some nutjobs in the international who think of rock & steel are evil. heavily, why won't be able to people choose song by skill of what evidently like fairly than who wrote it or how popular a band is? BQ2: Hm...i assume so. Even united states. Ray Stevens is hilarious. And whether i do no longer likely like digital/overly autotuned stuff, I nonetheless like a number of Owl city's stuff someway.

No. BAD PARENTING has a bad influence on young people. My kids grew up listening to metal (because I did) and let's see...one is a successful musician/songwriter; one is doing great in college; and another just had my first granddaughter who will, I hope, grow up with strong parenting and listening to whatever music they want to.

narrrr, metle is a great way for kids (like me) to be able to jump around and shout in a proper enviroment (like concerts) if they listend to clasical then they would release all there energy at diffrent times and these could be bad times (like in a meeting or sumthing)
i think metle provides hobies and carears for teens and its great to have somthing to be intrested in. i dont think it has anything bad with it.

i don't think it has a bad influence.
it actually depends on the people who are listneing to the music, ya know what im trying to say right?
like it depends on how they take the lyrics, etc.
