I was in London this past July at London Heathrow Airport waiting for my flight to Kenya, and I'm a social girl so I decided to strike up a converstaion with a few Brits. (While waiting 8 hours for my flight.) And they thought I was from Austrailia, and when I said I'm not, I'm from New York. They were like "Really?" And I said yes. Why do you ask? And they simply said that my accent isso similar to the Austrailian accent. So is that what you British hear when we speak, or is it just some British folks. And Austrailians what do you think? Do we sound like you?
