Have you really grasped the implications of death? Why do you still have fear in your heart? Why do so many live their lives as if they get a second shot at it?

I do not know for certain that we have only one life, but I am nearly certain you will only have your current life once.

Everyone is free to live life as one considers best.... we commit a blunder if we try to tell others how they ought to live their lives or what they should believe in or not.

I have never much thought of death. I knew that one day I would die but never gave it much thought. I also knew that my wife and I wouldn't tip toe into heaven together. My wife has been diagnosed with leukemia and they say it is terminal and now that is all I think of. In my heart I know that the only life you will ever know is the one you are living. So you better be nice to the people you, love you might not get a second chance

As I study The Bible, there has become no doubt in my mind that we have souls which go on to live forever with God. Also, when my step-father died, I literally saw his soul leave his body! These flesh bodies are temporary, but we have a chance in our lifetimes to gain God's grace so that we may have eternal life. He gave us free will. You decide!!! I have no fear of death, but I fear the Lord, because if we sin too much and do not repent, He may destroy our souls. Some people believe in reincarnation, and for them, they feel they get a second chance. Forever is a long time!

Great question. Of course with age this idea gains greater credibility. I'm 66 and I know the answer. But I'm not afraid of death. I'm somewhat concerned about the process but not the outcome. You see I have hope for what lies on the flip side of life. I wish all could have this same hope. I went looking for it but never found it until It was given to me as a gift. I'm thankful for it and desire that others hear my testimony. This hope was a gift from the one who came to earth to eliminate despair, that is, living without hope - Jesus Christ.

I don't know when it will happen, nor do I want to know. To fear death is to fear life. To fear life is to stop living and simply exist. That's depressing.

Sure, I know it. I enjoy my life as best I can. No regrets. No fear in my heart. Death is it. Nothing else.

No, I don't know that I will die one day. The rapture could happen first.
