It may be true but stepping on the Moon is not at all different than stepping in Vietnam, Cuba, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq etc.

Why wouldn't you believe it. I don't buy this as a conspiracy cause there's no reason to. Okay, I believe that my government might lie in order to make the soviets think we won the space race; but the conspiracy buffs seem to be pursuing this for religious reasons. I do not get it; where does it say man shall not go to the moon.

I mean, wether we went to the moon or not, are you seriously suggesting that we do not have the capability and that things like the mars mission are faked as well? Its not going to be that long before we have (expensive) space tourism -- already do in a sense. Is it that we can go into space but couldn't land on the moon; or that we can go to the moon but can't get out to explore?

What exactly is the conspiracy and what would be the motive behind it?

I know where you're coming from. There's a lot of circumstantial evidence that suggests that the moon landing was faked. It reminds me a lot of the "Alien Autopsy" hoax in the 90's.

Here's what really happened. Yes, we did land on the moon. But the government was under duress, due to the cold war, to make it look as good as they possibly could for the public. Anything pointing to error or clumsyness is not what they could "allow" the public to see.

Some of that sprucing up resulted in inconsistantcy that showed up later. Like the flag waving on the moon, where we know there is no atmosphere.

i ask this... the real footage of the landing... WHY IS THE FLAG WAVING? There is no wind supposedly, right? And if we did what was the statement Neil Armstrong made all about, "We see something up here... I think its hu..." and it was cut off from the public.... Was the word HUMAN or something else. I stepped on a moon pie one time and than a cow pie more than once. I prefer the dried out ones to the fresh ones though.They also fly further too. Have you ever tried either of these?

United States astronauts may have stepped on the moon. I personally wouldn't believe it unless I witnessed truth serum being given to the astronauts, and heard from their own mouths that they stepped on the moon...what with the production of the Jessica Lynch 'rescue' and soooo much more.
