No, I don't think that Christianity is a threat to freedom in the US. However, I do think that the fundamentalists' version of it is a threat, because they want to impose their vision of what they think the country should be on the rest of us and violate the Constitution. And despite what you would like to think, there is a HUGE difference between communism and liberalism.

The comunist country will wipe out Islam and Christanity as well as anyone else who disagrees with them. No Christanity isn't a threat, the wacko theocrats are way to small a minority to do anything to this country, and there is no advocation of murder in the New Testament, even Revelation restricts the killing to God.
