give her time to grieve. maybe as of this moment she is more comfortable talking to her ex. maybe she feels that he understands her. be patient. maybe you could send her a card expressing your condolences for the loss of her father. she would surely appreciate the gesture and at the same time see what a sensitive guy you are. good luck!

well i think she sees you as just a friend and this is the only answer she can give you since she wants to keep your friendship and doesn't want to hurt your feelings. give her a little time and maybe a little space and see how she acts. maybe in a little while, when your friendship is stronger and she hasn't recently had a family member pass away, she might be more interested.

Think hard: Do u really need her?
Maybe she's w/ her ex as friends or ...
Maybe she's having a hard time.

Keep her as ur friend for like a month or so(Sorry if thts to long)
Then ask and see how she feels.

maybe she just sees you as a friend. or maybe she doesn't want to ruin the friendship. never ever ask a girl out espically after she just broke up with her boyfriend. dat is a no no. mayber her ex boyfriend was just you know confortin her. maybe that why you saw them together.

... have you heard that saying, "they're more fish in the sea?" well, this comes to be very true. you may like her, but let's think...
if she's never quite into you; she might be too shy to say that she's not into you. (tear tear)
really, i'm not trying to be mean... but some lucky girl out there is exactly for you... and one day, she'll wake up and realize what she has missed and regret that she missed a guy like you.
:]

Maybe she feels that since your her friend, you'd undersand her sitiation. If you've been friends for a long time then maybe she gats the idea that maybe you were just joking about asking her out

You are not doing anything wrong. Maybe she doesn't want to go any further. Maybe she only wants to be your friend. Either that or she just needs time.

don't worry, one day she'll realize your value and come to you. some people just need time. and believe me when you push a girl attempting to grab her interest you somehow are literally pushing away.
try to keep your distance for some time and see what happens
good luck
