my husband will always tell me he doesnt look or gawk at girls but I'm not stupid he is a man and he is gonna look. I know he would never act on anything though. So all you married guys out there how often do you look and have you ever done it in front of your wife?

I think you mean wander (as in roam) rather than wonder (as in be in awe or curious). I have been married for over 27 years and while I might glance at an interesting person I don't even think about anyone but my wife. I do not stare nor do double takes. I'm just not that interested.

We always look. Every chance we get.
I have been caught gawking a couple of times in front of the wife, although I try not to. She used to get mad but now laughs about it. She knows that some hot chick walking down the street is not a threat.

I think Sarah may be right in her answer. Porn is altering how you view your sexuality. Most normal hetero guys who see an unclothed male actually have a measurable threat response go off in their brain unconsciously. Your reaction is very very rare. It's possible that you are bi curious but I think that's unlikely (unless you've fantasized about men all your life up till now but you don't mention anything like that). It could be born of some childhood trauma too. It sounds like it's not men you are attracted to, but rather a fascination with the penis. That's sort of a different thing than homosexuality but could be related. It's too complex a question to answer without further details.

All the time! Up until 4 years ago, when my wife and I started openly meeting other people (yes together), I didn't make it as obvious. Now she's pointing out the attractive girls to me before I even see them! hehe By the way, she gets to openly gawk at other men too!

Every day. However there is a respectful way of noticing a womans beauty. I would never gawk. And the only times my wife was with me and noticed we had up front honest, but quick, discussions about it. She states that the woman was attractive but maybe next time I could hide it better. Accepting and straightforward. I love her.

Hello, although my wondering eyes were not the cause of my divorce, I did find myself staring quite a bit, let's say if we were out shopping at the grocery store, I would be pushing the cart and since I was not the one actually looking at the products, I would take a chance and survailance the isle and when I would spot an attractive looking woman coming in our direction, immediatly my wife would turn to look at me and would not take her eyes from me. But to answer your question, all the time and yes in front of my ex wife.

I have learned to attempt to be much more discreet when my wife is around, because gawking is disrespectful of her, and I try not to creep out any women with my looking. That said, I look at every attractive female I get a chance to look at. It is definitely one of my character weaknesses, because it takes quite an effort of will for me not to look, or to look away when I know I have looked too long.

Fairly often it is only natural to look and it is natural for us to tell you that we dont look. I try not to when I am out with my wife but sometimes it is just a reaction to look at a beautiful women.

Often. And the word is wander, not wonder.

All guys experience attraction to people besides their chosen one. Many suppress this so much they won't admit it even to themselves. It natural and part of being male to feel this attraction.

I try never to do anything that would make my wife feel uncomfortable or embarrassed.
