I'd be a bit suspicious of his reasons for having them framed and mounted.

i could think of that's greater substantial initially because of the fact greater human beings died, and secondly because of the fact it marked the initiating of a shift in Western attitudes in the direction of terrorism, Islam and the initiating of the entire conflict on Terror. of direction the loads of alternative acts of terrorism that have happened these days international are substantial, yet their magnitude isn't as a lot. additionally, there have been greater some distance-achieving outcomes - 9/11 tangled up the economic gadget for months, entire companies have been almost wiped out and the wellness impacts proceed to at present time. i assume the seen is likewise so a lot greater memorable - crumbling sky scrapers are patently going to stick in human beings's minds greater effective than a blown up bus. i do no longer think of that's something to do with individuals questioning they're greater valuable or something like that, 9/11 is extremely greater substantial in terms of what happened afterwards. that's only how that's. As to the conspiracy theories, nicely, the variety of circumstantial data that fuels conspiracy theories did no longer quite exist in those different circumstances, and probably each and every physique is only much less trusting of the U. S. government?

There could be a number of reasons he has these pictures on the wall. He may have lost someone he knew in the these events or he may be interested in them like people have an interest in planes and trains and have pictures of these on the walls of their homes.

The only way to find out why he has these is to ask.

This is not paranoia. You should be concerned
Don't visit that person again, he may not be an extremeist, but it is obvious he supports them.
3 people I knew died that day, I have their pics, & the pic of the lights they put up in Manhattan, to signify the two towers. I would not frame & hang what killed them.
That person is sick & they are infiltrating the rest of the world so they can take over & destroy the other religions.
Fanatacisim at it's worst.

Hm, could be either way. Some people keep things like that just because it was such an important event or could be he's happy it happened, who knows. Could you keep an eye on him, see if you can find out more about this guy? Not a bad idea to ask him about it and see what his reaction/comment is.

I agree with the last answerer. I believe your just trying to get people angry or foolishly scared like the boy who cried wolf.
Even if this was real those things could be just his shrines to respect the dead or he could have had a friend in that place that died. Also it could be his way of reminding himself that there are judgemental people in the world who will judge him just for being a Muslem.

I'd ask him about them. If he says they are shrines to honor the innocent people that died in those attacks....great. If he says it is to honor those that struck a mighty blow to the infidels, I'd say he's not someone you wanna hang out with anymore.

What are you going to do? Report him for having a framed newspaper?
Don't be ridiculous.
They just caught 8 more of them. Do you think you'll be a national hero or something?
My father also kept these newspapers, as keepsakes.
I think you're a bit paranoid.
