i do a lot of improv. the key is to not think to hard, have fun, act natural and dont be afriad to get close to your performers. odds are for the audition you will play some improv games, and then do some scenes. just relax, but stay on your toes. say what comes to mind. good luck.

When you do Improvisational Theater you are given a topic or situation and a time limit. It is not always based on comedy, it is a luck of the draw type of thing. To prepare for an improv audition... hmm... expect the unexpected. Ready yourself to think on your feet and keep a running dialogue or monologue. Make sure you keep going and make it look as effortless and natural as possible.

Let your imagination drive you and if you can find a humorous way to engage you audience go for it.

Basically, just go out there and have fun; you'll love it and and you'll make them love you.
