Yes

All the people that are saying Elvis is better obviously don't know much. I'm a musicologist and Elvis was NOT a musician....he even said that he didn't know anything about it himself. He actually stole most of his music from a more talented artist called Big Momma Thorton (she's really good btw).

MJ is a legend and will always be a legend no matter what scandal will happen.

No not in a million years he is way overated. Bigger than elvis are you crazy he doesn't even have one tenth of the talent elvis had.
Prince is more of a legend he writes songs, dances and plays over a dozen different musical instruments and is not a child molester like michael.

i think Jackson has SOME historical significance within the boundaries of his craft, he made videos exciting with his dance moves but I do not think of him as having changed the COURSE or face of music as did Elvis, The Beatles, Motown, the seminal rappers such as Grandmaster Flash, Dr Dre with his fresh musical backings and of course early gospel and blues performers, I mean Jackson's SOUND was all Motown, it was invented LONG BEFORE he came on the scene with his brothers and he even took his dance moves from James Brown. He had a lot of talent and he will have his place in music history, but legend as people use it.... never, I just don't think he has proven himself to be that far above any other performer, he was just extraordinarily natrurally talented but definitely NOT something legends are made of (even without all the insanity) .

Michael Jackson IS a musical legend despite all the lies the media and gold diggers have made up!! He changed music for the better and he broke every record that Elvis set! Elvis never had anything on Michael, Michael has more talent in his little toe than Elvis ever had!!

♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥

Get a grip on reality brother. He is nowhere near Elvis, he did nothing to change music, Elvis didn't change it either but he opened it up. He stole all of his dance moves from everyone from James Brown to Elvis to Fred Astaire & showed them to a new generation of kids who hadn't seen them before. He is a good singer & a great entertainer but Far Far from a musical legend.

He his a musical legend, to describe a musical legend only musical talents should be taken into account. Besides surely if he was guilty of such indiscretions he'll be in jail, as the courts have said, he's Innocent, at least until PROOVEN overwise.

If you talk about popularity than yeah Elvis, Beatles, Jackson still popular somehow BUT......... noway hes not a musical legend, first of all there have been lots of people helping him write or compose songs throughout his career, secondly bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin etc can be called MUSICAL LEGENDS because of their extraordinary original creative work!

Yes, and no, not bigger than Elvis. There'll never be another Elvis. Michael had some really good stuff though, I think "Thriller" was fantastic! He'll never come back now, what he did was taboo.

Actually he was very talented. For his bizarre behavior, thats another story. I honestly miss the young michael jackson. I think that now he looks like a deranged woman. It scares me.
