Could British muslims do more to stop the terrorist cells in the U.K?

eg hiding the terrorists within in their communities and refusing to reveal their identities to the authorities.Wondered what your views are on this

yeah they could do more its a WELL KNOWN FACT that people hide out these terrorists in mosques as, after all this is where some of the hatred and teaching of hatred in Muslims to all non believers of their faith goes on ,is it not. After the bombings in London the British government appealed to Muslim community leaders to come forward and help to put a stop to these cells.So why are they going on to today if British muslims love to help so much. I THINK NOT.

We don't really know that they don't help do we? After all, the anti terrorist branch must be getting their info from somewhere and it's hardly likely to be from Joe Bloggs down the road. A Muslim told me that he thought these killers should be hanged so we are obviously not alone in our outrage. I think we must hang on to that because to do otherwise would encourage even more fanatics to take control. That having been said I hope that, if convicted these people are never released from prison.

Well, of course they could. We could ALL do more to make our society sweeter but we don't.
Why do some people moan and whine about security cameras and the like, these things are there for everyone's safety. It's clowns like this that have something to hide that are as big a threat as terrorists.

It really isn't about black or white or christian or muslim or whatever, it's about the righteous standing up for themselves against hoodlums, yobs, criminals and terrorists and making our world better for us all.

Hell bobpie they could eradicate the damned cells if they wanted to. They don't want to. Not enough to take action against the criminal behaviour nor the criminal acts.
Then again bobpie...could the Americans do more to stop the war in Iraq? Hell they could eradicate that if they wanted to, they don't want to. At least not enough to stand up and scream ~ STOP! ~

Maybe wondering blade should look at the news where they have foiled the plot to kidnap,torture and behead a british muslim soldier....Their are too many sympathisers in this country, the only thing different is that we will not tolerate it the way it is tolerated in iraq....No body wants these kind of attrocoties in any country and i think that all terrorist whether they black, white pink or brown should be caught and imprisoned....

Yes, I believe muslims all over the world are slightly sympathetic to their terrorist friends, and often help them out in many subtle ways. I think it is part of their religion to openly help extreme followers in any form, and push their agenda regardless of any non-muslims that get hurt.

I am heartily sick of picking up papers both local and national and reading that they are such a nice family.These people are intent on killing us and should be at the very least deported to an Islamic country and in the case of the loonies arrested in Birmingham today should be hanged publicly.

british muslims could stop it in one minute if the mullahs and community leaders endorsed stopping it (but will they)?not while it suits thier purpose to instill fear and loathing ito the gullible! by the way i am married to a muslim and have nothing but respect for the faith !
