Should i be thrown out of the service, maybe court-marshalled? Maybe executed? Ive done my job quite well over the years, but i do not support the republican party at all. What do you say republicans? You keep running your mouths on the internet about how "libs and dems" need to be rounded up and delt with. What about me? What about my kind? Those who have served the country?

You aren't the only one.. Marine here. I go to town on these guys all the time for this slandering and wanton stupidity. The fact that they sit and suck up the evil spin from the Fox's and the Rush's .. and then jump on here and talk about "rounding" people up at all just drives me crazy! they have no honor, they have no merit and they are spoon fed this lie about people who have a different track than they do.. it's a free country fascist phonies.. we are here because we deserve to be here.. Democrat Liberal.. American! get it we live here to .. and the fact is you are a minority, the polls indicate that only a very small margin of you are still buying the tale..

First of all, thank you for your service to our country. I appreciate your sacrafice protecting my freedoms.

I don't care if you are republican or democrat, you have the right to express your opinion. Regardless if it is viewed by some as right and by others as wrong.

I don't know who you are talking about saying we should round up democrats and liberals. But that type of free speech should not be allowed on Yahoo or anywhere.

However many people, regardless of political party, take the right to freedom of speech too extremes. For example, someone from the 82nd airborne who lost their leg was spit on on Sunday 1/28/07 in Washington. People at this same rally also defaced, with spray paint, our capital building.

Freedom of speech means that you have manners and give people and property respect and courtesy even though you don't agree politically with someone. Otherwise organized society will go into turmoil.

I see a lot of the groups who associate with the democratic party doing these things and no one in leadership of your political party says enough and disassociates themselves from or condems these actions.

I think the US govt make-up should be reformed because of all the special clauses and greedy loop-holes some selfish officials have adapted. The tax thing for the rich is crazy, the border control guys going to prison, bad guys getting pardoned, 1200 terrorist groups in US w/weapons while rest of world goes through struggle at airports. But even with the misguided Iraq war which should have been give all or nothing to wipe-out terrorists BILL CLINTON is the one who ok'd Loren Corp to sell tech to China enabling China now to shoot down our strategic missiles. For what--a $1 mil donation to Dem Party. Two candidates have $100 mil funds for this coming election and neither are good. We need to research any candidate that is to be in charge of the country we live in. I've found out a lot in just a little time with the Internet.

Last but not least 'THANK YOU For Serving!'

unfortunately you have no choice. My husband and I are station at Ft. Campbell. We've always lived off post and they are allowed to do inspections. The reasons they gave me (because I was just as pissed as you) If they find that the house is unsanitary for the soldier then the soldier must move back into the barracks and you will lose your BAH because you are not keeping your home up to health standards. If your husband refuses to let them do an inspection, his chain of command have the right to force him to move into the barracks and/or he will be hit with an Article 15. It doesn't have to do with the neighbor hood your living in, or the apartment complex its self. They just want to make sure your home is a healthy environment for their soldier that they own. also don't feel bad, I had an inspection when I was 9 months pregnant I could barely get off the couch. They got mad because the dishes weren't out of the sink. But nothing ever came of it, we passed. They just don't want dog poop on the floor, bugs, food growing hair around the house etc.

Thanks for your service. I am a Conservative who served for 10.5 years and usually votes republican. I don't think it is necessary to round up and deal with libs but I don't generally agree with their way of dealing with problems. IMO they are not proactive enough and they tend to look for the easy way out even if it is the wrong way to bring about a real and lasting solution to a problem. That being said we need both sides to come to a balance that works for the majority. I think the parties in politics should be disbanded and people should put in their honest views and not that of a party,

Democratts Republicians, Liberals and so on, are labels.
They are polictical shields that big moutn non doers hide behind. Their only function, is to tax us to death and impose their thoughts on others, because, they have some polictical power, that they thinks gives them the right.
The Millitary has available to them many new weapons, that would almost make them invinceable, and those items are proven affective, and ready now. For some reason, pollictical noses have inter feared with the delevery of these goods to our Men and Woman fighting for us.
Choose what ever label you wish. This crap touches all parties

I am a republican who has also served in the Army and left E7.I don't understand what you are referring to insofar as being court-marshalled.I am not " running my mouth"! this is America; we citizens are free to choose whatever political party affiliation we wish-or the right not to vote, for that matter.

I salute you, sir.

I did not serve, but I totally respect your contribution and what you have posted here.

I doubt even the usual band of thugs will smart off to you; of course, there are always a couple in every crowd.

Thank you for your posting.

First, thank you for your service. I wonder how many of those Republicans that run on about how bad Dems are actually served this country. Most are Chicken-hawks that were quick to get deferments and slow to show up for duty. As a former member of the Air Force I am glad to salute you.

Thanks for speaking up - it is a bad assumption that our military collectively supports BushCo.

My father, a lifelong democrat, was a Naval Intelligence Officer during the Cuban Missle Crisis. My step-brother was a Ranger during Panama, my Grandfather served in the Army during WW2 and he is buried at Arlington National Cemetary, my Uncle was in Vietnam. All passionate and patriotic Democrats.
