Do you think it's too early to ask her how he did it? To me, it seems kind of early and just plain rude to ask her so sudden.

Why would you want to ask her such a horrific question as she is in mourning over her brothers death. I think instead of you being so inquisitive you need to be there for her as a friend and don't concern yourself with minor details right now. I would be offended and upset if I were your friend and you asked me that. If she is your friend she will eventually talk to you about it, you won't even have to bring it up.
Please don't mention it.....give her time and pray for her and her family because I'm sure they are really going through a tough time right now.

Offer her your friendship, a shoulder to lean on and an ear. In time she will come around and talk. Be patient with her. She is going through an awful tragedy. Just be there for her and try not to pry.
