I am a truck driver..have been for over 25 years. Not aware of any FREE truck driver training classes, but I DO KNOW of some trucking companies...SWIFT...SCHNEIDER...JB HUNT
WERNER...PRIME...that will HIRE you...put you in training and PAY you while you do it. After 6 months experience with a good driving record can go to better places to work. Go to a truck stop and pick up some of the books that they have in stands that are free and look at them. Lots out there to choose from. Try this website http://www.yourtruckingschool.com/ I looked at it and it says it is free. Who knows...first I have ever heard. Free CDL training...I would call first about it. But if your went to work for one of the companies I listed you would get paid as well as get the training. Better deal I think.

You are better of going to a community college for it. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Those companies will make you pay with low wages etc. When you go through a company program you are actually getting a loan and if they hire you they will pay your loan off. But there is a catch the school is owned by them. The training is substandard and they get 10 grand from Uncle Sam because of a so called driver shortage.
