Okay, this is way tough. The main issue, though, has been covered for the most part. No matter which way you go, definately make sure all of you are on the lease. Other than that, before things get too out of hand, look at it from other angles. Even though it's /not/ fair, is $350 a month a good price in that area for the space you'll be getting? Have you ever spent a long amout of time with either of these people before? I have a very good friend I'd do a lot of things for, but I could never room with her. I would kill her within a week. You should probably take a day to consider things. If $350 is an awesome deal for your area, give it a try. It is not fair, but maybe they're in a tough spot themselves and have no other choice. If he is that good of a friend, he wouldn't purposely slight you. Good luck!!

if you come to the central or downtown areas its little expensive but i prefer all the areas in singapore is connected well with bus and train services each locality has its own pros and cons
rent is around 600 to 1000 sgd

decent ones start around 700sgd-900sgd a month
in US dollards that would 400-600 a month...
