There are many but i'll give the three main ones

1. x + 1/x = 1

in the above equation substituing x=0 will cause it 1/x to go to infinity
and we know that 0 + infinity can never be equal to 1!! It proves the equation wrong even when there is a real value for x.

2. x(x-2)=x-2

in the above equation susstitutin x=0 will reduce the equation to
0=-2, err why would you bother with that???

3. x(x-1)=0

if you use x=0 in the baove equation you get the ( that what YOU think) right answer for x. ie x=0. But, you have missed out another possiblity

when x(x-1)=0
either x=0 OR x-1=0
ie x=0 OR x=1

so missed out on another solution to the given equation

Hope this helps :)

zero is not always a good number because you can't subract or divide a natural number from zero
example:
0-20 undefined
0/36 undefined

For linear equations, substituting 0 for x will give you the y-intercept. In that respect, it is useful. Aside from that, it doesn't provide any information.

If x is in the denominator of a non-linear equation, it will not give a defined answer.

The answer about dividing by zero is correct and...
Any multiple of zero is also zero and this may lead to incorrect conclusions about the equation states.

if we say x=0 that will give answers that not make any clue
eg: x * 4= X
x * 6= x ........
ps: and ofcours you cant divide with it !!!!!!!!!!
