hell no we shouldn't apologize...what did we do? And ya know what...the descendents of slaves didn't do anything to deserve an apology! If anyone should get an apology it would the people who actually were enslaved...not the ones who sit here now and demand an apology.

Why? My ancestors weren't even in the USA when slavery was going on...other groups have been persecuted as well. You just have to move on.
