They contend that it's not really a "beauty" pageant... but rather a competition to see who is most deserving of the crown to represent what their contry is all about. It usually has a lot of questions about the person's aspirations, morals, values, and dreams. I don't really know why they are called beauty pageants, because I don't think there is really any standard to judge who is more beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so it would be hard just to judge off of looks alone.

Yes there's a culture, you have reason but everyone want to be best.
If you are chosen to be the best one, you'll feel the pleasure.

Besides, it's a good business and you can be on tv.
