How come I've only seen 3 or 4 plus size avatars on here?

Most people project what they want to look like through their avatars, not what they look like in real life. The ones who want to show the world what they actually look like just use a photo avatar of themselves. I haven't noticed that the plus size options really add anything substantial to the look of the avatar.

great question. It is because we see what we want to see. Although the average size in America is 10 - 12, we see more slender people than the normal size. it's sad I say.
