It took me 6 yrs to have a full term pregnancy. I had 2 miscarriages along the way. I took all kinds of things.. vitamins, depro, clomid..which did not work just made me crazy!! I used herbs, cough syrup.. then one Christmas my mom bought the fertility monitor.. and I found out I was pregnant the Feb following. My son is 5 now and I am pregnant again.. but I blame the water park for this one. I shook something up on the way down one of those slides.. lol. I hope this did not discourage you.. cause 6 yrs is a long time.. but miracles do happen and his name is Addison. And the little shocker I am carrying now is Aiden. Good luck!

Well with my first child it wasn't planned, but with the child I'm pregnant with right now it took anywhere from 6 months to 1 year.(It's been almost 6 years since I had a baby) I can't remember when we started trying. I kept track of my ovulation days. If you do this then don't think that you are going to get pregnant right away because most people don't,the more you think this the more upset you are going to be when you find out your not pregnant. Just keep track of your ovulation days and don't think about it all the time (like I did) relax and have fun. If you want to keep track of your ovulation days then go to www.webmd.com and there they have a ovulation calender you have to sign up but it's free. You put in when your last period was and your ovulation days will show up.

With my first it took 8 months after I went off the pill. With my second, it took right at a year. There are things you can try to increase your chances. Chart your ovulation, Have sex every other day, just don't stress over it. As soon as you stop trying, it will happen. Good Luck.

3 months from the time I stopped the birth control pill after being on and off it for 15+ years. You can not dwell on it, you have to relax, stressing over it will not get you pregnant. Also get an ovulation kit and be sure your hubby is not "re-leaving himself" between the times you "have relations" during your ovulation days.... Good luck future mommy its a life changing blessing, be ready for no sleep :-) but a wonderful joy!
