A lot of ISPs give you a certain amount of dial up time free with their DSL service. Check to see if yours offers it.

If I were you, I would network the computers so they can both use the DSL.

You can't just dial a number - you have to have a dial up ISP. Like the first guy said, your DSL provider might have given you a little bit of dial up access, call them and see.

What you really need is a network card so you can plug into the DSL. If you want both machines on the internet at the same time you can think about adding an inexpensive router.

You know, it would be really helpful if you put your country somewhere.

If you are in the UK look at connect4free ... it's a pay-per-minute dial up service that doesn't require you to register. If you are not, I'm sure that someone in your country will offer a pay-per-minute dialup service, you'll just have to use it at least every 30 days to keep it active.
