THEhotel is a part of the Mandalay bay on the strip, but why is it called THEhotel? How do you pronounce it? Do you just say THEE hotel? Bit of a weird question I know. But I just think its a funny name for a hotel.
Can anyone give me any more info on it? Thanks in advance.

It was a second tower addition to Mandalay Bay and they gave it it's own style. It is completely seperate from the Original tower. It has its own Spa called THEbathhouse hehe and all its own amenities like THEcafe, THElounge, THErestrooms, you get the idea. The style of the new tower is very "W" style chic, super contemporary.

Mandalay Bay hotel is the main hotel, but then there's another, more upmarket section of Mandalay bay hotel called THEhotel, pronounced as 'the hotel', you know how you would normally say those words. They share the same plot of land, pool etc, but THEhotel section has some added extras.

The Hotel is a serperate tower at Mandalay Bay, that it more upscalre than the main tower. It has a seperate registration and lobby, but shares the same casino and pool area (there is also third hotel on the Mandalay Bay property - I beleive it's a Four Seasons - that is maybe the only non-casino property on the strip).
It is pronounced just as you would expected - "The Hotel."

The Mandalay Bay is a resort like many of the hotels in Vegas. The Hotel is the Hotel, The Casino is the Casino, etc
The Hotel as Cesaers palace is also called the Hotel for example.
