OK you have to check out several things about you prospective employer
1. If the work you are going to be responsible for will put you at risk for a high risk pregnancy
2. Your employer has a paid maternity leave
3. If the job has good benefits because you need the best prenatal care.
4. If the salary is enough to provide for baby
if the job has all of this than i would take the job .But i wouldn't inform them that you are pregnant until your 90 day probation is over. Because they cant fire you after 90 days without just cause. Before 90 days they can terminate employment for any reason. Congratulations and good luck.

Accept the job if it is a good fit for you.

Do not tell them that you just found out that your are pregnant. They do not need to know and you are not required to tell them (until you would normally tell someone-- around the 2nd tri).

You will probably not be eligible for the parental leave and earnings act as you are only legally protected if you have worked at a place for a year. So you might only be able to take unpaid leave while on maternity leave.

Your baby is not considered a pre-existing condition (thanks to the HIPAA regulations past years ago) but you may need to get a new doctor based on the insurance plan.

Good luck

What kind of job.. will this effect your performance at the job? Think about if you may have a high risk pregnancy. I wouldn't take the job. Let them know that you just found out that you are pregnant and feel that it could affect them professionally.

Of course you should! You deserve to have the job you want, and if you just found out, you will still be able to work for them for 7 months or so before you take just 6 weeks off. Take the job!!

yes. you can do almost anything in the early part of pregnancy that you would do if not pregnant(note i said almost, some docs may place restrictions) .
you dont need to tell them if you live in the US(dont know about other countries), its illegal for them to ask about family status pregnancy or anything along those lines.
the other thought is, can you afford to have the baby if you don't take the job? not being snarky, but if you have a partner that can support you and baby that could be a big factor in you not taking the job.

If you want the job (and it does not jepardize your health or the baby's) take it. DO NOT TELL THEM! They WILL NOT HIRE YOU! It is illegal in the US for them to discriminate against a pregnant woman, but they all do, it's just not the reason they put down. You tell them after you've had the job at least a coulple months, after you've proved that you are capable of doing the work. You DO NOT have to disclose pregnancy to ANY prospective employer. It is also ILLEGAL for them to ask (before you work for them). If they decide to fire you after you tell them in a couple of months, they will have a lawsuit on their hands. Pregnancy does not make a woman incapable of work.

why not? you are pregnant... and you just found out? you have thirty plus weeks before you will need to have time off....
just be up front with them... I know it usually means they tell you they do not need you at times... but, you are early enough it should not affect you overly....
good luck
