Well, I mentioned this before, but I am starting an organization called "A Page A Day." You know the old adage that if you write just one page a day you'll have a 365 page book by the end of the year? That's pretty much what it's based on. What I would like to know from you is what would you specifically like to see in the group. I'm working on the website right now, but should there be meetings off forum? If so, how often should they be held? I've never set something like this up before and any input would be appreciated even from non-writers that just happen to have a few good ideas. Please let me know, everything should be up in the next two weeks or so, but I would really like to cater to as many people as possible.

I'm looking at having Affinity host it. After it's created, I'll need a tech to help me monitor the site. Any help would be appreciated, but please contact me. Also, who would have the best forums that I could attach to the main site?

It's nice to have feedback, especially from other writers. I would like to see a place where we can get together in organized groups (maybe by genre) and within each group we could trade work and provide feedback to each other.

Remember...no stealing ideas, just helping each other to become better writers.

One interesting idea would be for each writer to have to possibility to create his or her own thread in the forum to post their writing. That way, they can get feedback in a continuous way from others. And, everyone would be able to follow their favorite writer's progress.

You should definitely post the address so we can all visit.

Well, if you want to get a varity of writer's from different places, an off-internet meeting would have a very limited people there. Let me know when you get this thing going. I'd be interested to join.

Forums are good because there are no specific meeting times. Everyone can come at a time that is convenient for him. (By the way, could you email me the details? Sounds interesting.)

Topics and conversations of all sorts. It'll be the jack of all trades! The subject should never be limited. But it should be of some value, esp. if people will be viewin it. You should start with mundane ones and youd get the hang of it as the days come.

Keep it up!
