Hmmm. You like emo punk type stuff. That's not real easy to play on guitar. Lots of fast chords. Power chords, but fast.
If you'd be willing to try other kinds of music, let me know and I could give you some suggestions.

Nirvana songs are simple, Whats my age again by blink. Any of that punk or grunge should be relatively simple. Good luck. If you are just starting I suggest you learn your open chords now, and learn them well. It will pay off bigtime later.
