I'm not a racist monkey.
if you don't know what love means, then you must be quite young. that's not an insult!
love is a wonderful feeling [not emotion] that you can feel warming you on cold nights, it's that glow you feel inside when your walking home and thinking about your other half?
it's a feeling that you get as your growing old and the original reason why you and your partner got together...lust, has now faded.
once the sex has cooled, it becomes love making... if you needed to ask this question then look forward to 50 +. I'm there and it's great. live and love long

reading som of the other answers to this question i realised there are a lot of sadistical twits out there. you can't know the tru mening of love until you've felt it yourself. it's the place where nothing and no-one can hurt you, it's the thing that keeps you grounded, and the thing that makes you float high above the world on your own dram cloud. it's the person you can see spending the rest of yur life with, it's the look in your partners eye as he watches your reflection in the tv screen when he think youre asleep, its tjhe brush of his hand as he helps you into your coat. it gives u challenges and mysteries, things u have to face; it makes u smile and it makes u cry, it makes u work for ur happiness and it gives u unconditional joy. its thje first touch of ur newborn child and the tender kiss between ur great-great grandparents. love isn't just a feeling, it doesn't just give u a happy or make everything right in the world... but it does make everything seem that little bit better.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
