you're able to return to college. What you get out of it is plenty extra desirable than an training. Why not call and make an appointment with a counselor. they could supply you some stable training and get you on the appropriate course. And if one counselor isn't useful (they're so overworked), make an appointment with yet another and refer to that guy or woman. a stable counselor could have the superb solutions. stable success and don't enable all people supply up you from returning to college. you will like the place you're in existence plenty extra once you're finished and you're able to be able to parlay an training right into a much extra effective existence. If social worker would not artwork, then locate something that's close. Social artwork is annoying, thankless artwork with little pay yet you additionally could make a distinction in human beings's lives. there are various professions that are that line. Nooooo don't do it; or if you do, get out after a few years before you become completely disillusioned with the whole field. You will need a CQSW; certificate of Social Work, or a SW degree. Contact Social Services , Careers Advice or college to find out more. Personally I think you are mad..(no offence)

That's really tough... I was friends with the nicest girl who happened to be a social worker, and some of my family and friends started looking at ME with doubt and suspicion. Many families have had a social services experience brought about from disgruntled exes, babysitters, and those with an axe to grind. Be aware of a very real social stigma.
Good luck to you!

Contact you Local Authority Social Work Department and ask them to send you a recruitment pack. You'll need qualifications and need to know what to aim for. There are many branches in Social Work and you might want to specialise.

You need a college education, all the way up a Master's degree. Go to your local college or university and talk to an admissions counselor. They can tell you what education you need and help you with things like financial aide.
