There are a few yards in Florida that repair work boats and OSVs (Offshore Service Vessels). These are all commercial yards that typically work on commercial vessels.

The first that comes to my mind is Atlantic Marine in Jacksonville. This yard does both repairs and new construction. http://www.atlanticmarine.com/ There is also an Atlantic Marine yard in Mobile, AL.

Another is North Florida Shipyards. http://www.northfloridashipyard.com/

Derecktor yards build and repair both yachts and commercial vessels. http://www.derecktor.com/index.asp Derecktor also has two other yards, one in New York and one in CT.

There are many Boatyards in Florida, but these typically are geared towards luxury craft construction and repair. Still it may be worth looking into their capabilities if you happen to be much closer to one of those.

I'm curious... Why are you looking for a yard - new construction, repairs, are you looking for a job? Do you personally own an offshore tug? Does the yard HAVE to be in Florida?
