If so, is it only limited to when you are in bed, whether awake or sleeping?

Both. When I was being sexually abused by my dad, demons would do the same to me and then later inlife i would have them invade my dreams and do the smae thing. It would start out as a dream and they would end up in bed with me, that is the incubus, but I would always wake up before they would get too far with me. The succubus, I had problems with when my house was infested with demons. i thought it was a ghost, but I came to realize it was demons. Both my housekepper and myself tried to rid the house with our magic to no advail. I was wiccan and she was into voodoo. Nothing worked. She would be held down when I would go to work and I would be held down at night. If i swore at it, it would make it hard for me to speak, so thats how I knew it was not sleep peralisis, however you spell it. After that I abandoned wicca because I realized the magic was not in nature, but from the demons themselves and using their own power to get rid of them...well they were just laughing at me.

Yes! it was a while ago. During that time, i was in a slight depression since nothing was going right. I was already having some sleeping problems and had heard of incubus before.

what happened was i woke up on an early morning. i remember my eyes opening but the rest of my body being grounded. i was only able to move my eyes around but i couldnt move any body part. i felt like i was sat on and something was pushing me back to the bed. there were bell sounds in my ears and i wasnt aware of any outside sounds, only the bells. it felt a lot like being conscious in a body that doesnt function anymore. after several failed attempts to move my arms, i spelled out a few basic prayers (i am not that religious!!), i closed my eyes. and when i woke up again it was better...but it was certainly scary, i couldnt sleep for a few days only cuz i thought it might happen again!

doesnt matter if you take a religious or scientific perception on this: this disorder really depends on your psychological well-being. if you are in a depression and feeling mentally weak, you are bound to get adverse physical effects. in religious terms, weak souls are always prone to evil deeds.

Absolutely, a succubus...though not in the manner to which you are probably referring. This person sucked the life out of me...thriving on my pain and humiliation. So there ya go...

More like the other way around. I'm a little too much for them sometimes. I'm totally serious about this and not making a joke.

no, not really...and, what concerneddd is describing is nothing more than sleep paralysis, i have experienced that too and it has nothing to do with incubus/succubus
