You mean THEIR journey, not THERE journey. Anyway, you can get all the information you will ever need if you just take the time to read their journals, the ones they kept during their exploration at the request of President Thomas Jefferson.

Well they went all the way across the United States, I think they probably encountered a little of everything.

uncharted, unknown, sparsely populated,unexplored, wild as in nature, and more importantly unspoiled by humanity.Most of their exploring was done by traveling on rivers.They were looking for ways to connect western states with the eastern states
