That's your decision. I don't have kids, but this is my opinion...If you would have asked me this a few years ago, I would have said private school is a better choice for a better education, but public school systems seem to be improving these days. I went to private school for 8 yrs, it was a good experience, but expensive for my parents, I'm sure.

someone I know told me that her sister sent her kids to a private school (because of her earnings she did'n qualify for public) and comparing their kids progress, public school's kids are advanced because of the gov requirements are more stricts there( if the school doesn't get high punctuation on state tests the whole staff is removed so teachers help kids to get better grades and don't risks their jobs), so go ahead try public & if you don't like it just change for private. My kids are at public and all they are doing great, I think that your support is Key on their success!!!!!!!

you should take them to a good public school so they'll have friends and not a private school because they could get really lonely with just private schoolers

I think you should ask them...... because unhappy kids at school means bad grades at the end of the quarter.... yes in one school I remember, I was so bad, but when I went to a school I liked I got straight A's!
