i want to get either one but the school computers wont let me get one unless the adminstrator downloads it,so i was hoping maybe somebody knows how to get one without the adminstrator

There may be a way however I'm not going to mention how to come about it. You're in school, you're not there to chat online using Yahoo or MSN. Aside from that if you were able to download it, the Admin would know how you did it in less than a day, they would know to what computer and they would know who was at that computer when it was downloaded. Thus you would be caught. School is supposed to teach you and train you for the real world; a real world scenerio would be to look at it like this: If you work for a corporation which has similar blocks on their network and you go around them to download Yahoo or MSN so you could chat with your friends what do you think will happen to you? You're going to be fired, clear and simple, then on your next job interview you may have to explain as to why you were fired; it just tarnishes your image. I'd get used to not having Yahoo or MSN during the days now and pay attention in class, otherwise you may not even make it into the workforce other than flipping burgers when you're 35.

You will never be able to download a file at school.
You will be expelled for trying to do so.
I know you don't want to hear this, but you can't and you shouldn't even try because that is against the acceptable use policy at your school. They have sites blocked for a reason and trying to bypass their security will get you banned from using any of their their computers and probably even suspended or expelled. They track everything you do and you will get caught.

Most schools have a lot of sites blocked so the students can not have access to them as well as the teachers. This is a safety guard for the school.

you can go to the online one, yahoo is at yahoo.com then push messenger and then at the very bottom push lauch web messenger and sign in without downloading it
