Is it possible that life really can be simple?

I don't know, but I recently gotten this lightbulb that went off in my head, that life can really just be simple, but I put all this stuff in there to make it complicated.

Is it possible that life can really be simple?

I think you have answered your question. WE do make our lives complicated, when it isn't necessary.
Just know what is important to you. My girlfriend, Helen, who had cancer, talked of what became real, necessary, and everything else was nothing.
Her life became simple I suppose you could say as she recognized what was important to her.
When I would yammer on about "life" she would tell me, "Baby girl, you better know what it is that you want, because that is what it comes down to."
She has been gone for 6 years now, but I will always remember her and what she said.

My life is pretty simple right now. Although we don't have complicated things in our lives like ex-wives/husbands or people other than my husband and me who are parents of our children so we don't have that stuff to deal with. We both have good jobs, enough money to pay the bills with a little extra. But the most important thing is that we are truly happy together.
When you have peace in your home, nothing else seems to matter much.

I realize that this could change in a heartbeat. If one of us becomes ill or something, our lives probably won't seem so simple.

life is never simple, because theres always something that gets in the way. nobody's perfect. if you think theres a way, then you must be really lucky.
