We may move from Colorado, USA, to Northampton, England this year. It seems terrorist activities are more apparent in the UK--or am I just getting the sensationalized versions of the stories? Bottom line, how concerned should I be for my family if we move (and it would of course be apparent that we are Americans)?

I think I'd rather be in Colorado. Rest in peace John Denver. How could you leave such a beautiful place? As Americans I'm sure you are safer here in the USA. Terrorism is a real threat anywhere though nowadays. Don't let the media influence your decision. You can't trust them to tell you the truth. I know through my emails with troops in Iraq that the media is not the most accurate at what they report.

I would be concerned. Sad state of affairs everyplace actually. Be careful my prayers are with you. No place is safe these days but Colorado is in middle of country so was safer I guess. When we can break the terrorist financially and thier spirit we will all be safer. Good luck but enjoy it too just be watchful.

The fact is that terrorists are active in both the US and Britain, as well as in other places. But at least as for now, the number of terrorist attacks is very low.

Terrorist activities are becoming more frequent in both countries. Unfortunately, both governments aren't doing enough in my opinion to secure borders and screen incoming immigrants. So this has become a way of life, and they are probably going to occur no matter where you go.

I would not worry about the UK, don't believe all the news. Terrorism is world wide, I live in Vietnam and don't lose sleep over it.
